Election Resources

Voter Power

Voter Power is a tool from the Lake County Clerk’s office to provide individual voter information, from polling place to requesting a vote by mail ballot.  Click here to open a form that will enable access your personalized Voter Power page.

Candidate Filing 

Candidates wishing to appear on the March 20, 2018 primary election ballot must file their petition papers by 5:00 pm on Monday, December 4th.  Federal and state candidates file at the State Board of Elections office in Springfield, while local candidates (including precinct committeemen) file at the Lake County Clerk’s office.  To view the list of candidates filed in Springfield, click here.  To view the list of candidates filed at the Lake County Clerk’s office, click here.

Election Judges

The Lake County Clerk’s office is seeking people interested in serving as Election Judges for the 2018 primary and general elections.  Election Judges are responsible for the proper and lawful conduct of elections, serving at election sites throughout the county.  To learn more about becoming an election judge, including an online application, click here.
